Earning awards were:

  • Alex Energy—Edwight Mining—Surface Mine Classification
  • Mammoth Coal Co.—Preparation Plant—Plant/Facilities Classification

The Marfork Coal-Allen Powellton mine, located in Raleigh County, W.Va., worked more than 102,000 exposure hours in 2010 and reported no lost time injuries. The Alex Energy-Edwight mine, located in Raleigh County, W.Va., worked more than 323,000 exposure hours in 2010 and reported no lost time injuries. The Mammoth Coal preparation plant, located in Kanawha County, W.Va., worked more than 167,000 exposure hours in 2010 and reported no lost time injuries.
