Conuma Coal Resources Ltd. hired John Schadan as president to succeed Mark Bartkoski who stepped down on March 31. Schadan has more than 30 years of experience in Canadian mining, including as president of Westmoreland Coal Co., and positions with Luscar Ltd., Manalta Coal Ltd., Fording Coal, Ltd., and most recently as vice president of operations for KMC Mining Corp.
