In the area of the Ruhr valley, former German minister of economics and president of the RAG trust, Werner Mueller has left behind a century of performance. He passed away on July 15. From 1998 to 2002, Mueller was an independent (non-party) minister in the German government. From 2003, he was president of the RAG AG and later also of the Evonik AG, which was split from RAG. From 2012, Mueller was president of the RAG Foundation. Suffering from cancer, Mueller laid down his last job in 2018.
