The World Coal Association (WCA) appointed Michelle Manook as its new chief executive. Manook has more than 25 years of experience in the energy and mining industry covering Australia and, most recently, emerging markets. Manook joins the WCA from Orica where she was head of strategy, government and communications for Europe, Asia and Africa.
