Nidec Motor Corp. is launching new TITAN horizontal totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) motors that are available in 6800, 7000 and IEC 450 frame sizes. The motors, which are available with a self-contained sleeve bearing system, are being manufactured and assembled in Nidec’s ISO 9001-certified Arkansas facility. These motors have increased TITAN TEFC horizontal motors’ horsepower range from 1,000 to 2,000 HP to meet the growing industry demands. In addition, each frame size is tri-drilled for the rated frame size and two frames smaller.
