The first is for spot delivery of up to 500,000 tons of coal, FOB barge, beginning in July 2014 and ending in December 2014.
AEP also is seeking spot proposals for up to 500,000 tons of coal, FOB barge, beginning in January 2015 and ending in December 2015.
Proposal packages must be received by AEP no later than 5 p.m. local time on Monday, June 16.
The utility said it is open to alternative pricing structures or other innovative, value-added concepts, and proposals with alternative terms will be accepted.
